It’s easy to see where Beth got her penchant for party giving (and attending). This was her sixth birthday party back in Pennsylvania. Check out the handmade hats worn by all the guests. That is her mother peering from behind the table on the far side of the room.
There are two galleries on this page. The first one shows pictures from one of our Mexican fiesta parties. We would hold these every may shortly after the actual Cinco de Mayo holiday. For example the first one ever was a gaze Lionel party. We made all the food from scratch including pressure cooking huge cuts of beef and pork and chicken for Cárdenas brought up and Carney says. We would make salsa, guacamole, fry our own tacos and tostada shells, stuff and steam our own tamales. We typically entertained 40 to 50 people at one of these events.
The second gallery has pictures from the many birthday parties that Beth would organize for our daughters. These were always quite elaborate affairs with plenty of party favors and games. When her sister Susan still lived in the area, she would bring her traveling puppet show and entertain the kids.
